My peach tree understood the assignment 🍑

Hi Friends Reader

My peach tree has been VERY good to me this year. 🍑

After watching these peaches grow all summer, they're finally ripe and you better believe I'm putting them to good use!

First up had to be my Peach Cobbler with Buttermilk Biscuits, a recipe I recently went back into the kitchen to retest and refresh.

This cobbler is everything I love about late-summer baking: lots of juicy fresh peaches, just a touch of honey and lemon, and soft homemade buttermilk biscuits that bake up beautifully golden on top.

But there is one non-negotiable...

Serve it WARM with vanilla ice cream. 🤤

That cold ice cream melting into the warm, syrupy peaches and buttery biscuits is just about as good as summer dessert gets.

There is something incredibly satisfying about walking outside, picking food you've grown yourself, and turning it into something your family gets to enjoy. This is exactly why I love cooking with the seasons. ❤️

And I have plenty more peaches on that tree, so don't be surprised if you see another peach recipe from me very soon!
